MISSION CONTROL
Focus becomes a galaxy
Write one task and launch. Apsis is the iPhone focus timer and app blocker that locks your distractions and leaves a pixel planet behind for every finished voyage.
Free to start · 7-day Deep Space trial

PHASE 01 — ADRIFT
You know what to do. So why can't you start?
It's not a willpower problem. A to-do list records your work — it doesn't protect the doing.
Starting is the hardest part
The bigger the task, the heavier the first move. So you pick up your phone.
Forty minutes, gone
A quick scroll eats forty minutes. The thread doesn't come back.
Lists don't finish things
A to-do app just moves today's misses to tomorrow.
You don't need a longer list. You need a route that carries you to done.
PHASE 02 — BRIEFING
How does Apsis get things finished?
Write one line, and the AI navigator sets a destination, a definition of done, and the right focus time. Launch, and your apps lock. Arrive, and a planet is yours.
Write one line
“One line is enough. The navigator will organize the rest.”
Get your brief
“Define what done looks like first.” The finish line beats the clock.
Launch
Lock your distracting apps, pick a soundscape, go.
Leave a planet
Your focus time decides the discovery. It orbits in your galaxy forever.

PHASE 03 — SHIELDS
An app blocker that works only while you fly
Deep Space uses Apple's Screen Time technology to lock only the apps you choose, only while a voyage is active. The moment it ends, everything unlocks. Protection, not surveillance.
- Social, video, messengers, games — whole categories at once
- “Lock selected apps only while your focus voyage is active”
- Basic voyages work without the permission
● Your blocklist never leaves your device.
“Lock distracting apps during a voyage to improve your chance of success”
— APSIS, DEEP SPACE MODE
PHASE 04 — CRUISE
A cockpit instead of a countdown
The voyage screen holds time remaining and your route. Nothing to fiddle with, nothing to break the spell.
Soundscapes
Space 247 · Micky 7 · Second Step — a low ambient hum, like engine noise.
Live Activity
Your course on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Widget
Today's mission on the Home Screen, one tap from launch.
♪ A STARSHIP COCKPIT INSTEAD OF A TIMER
PHASE 05 — ARRIVAL
Finish a voyage, discover a planet
Every finished voyage leaves a pixel planet, and focus time decides the find: pass 50 minutes for a guaranteed ringed planet, hold 90 for a shot at gas giants.
Planet types
- Terra
- Ocean
- Ringed
- Giant
- Small moon
- Stardust
| Focus time | What you discover |
|---|---|
| Under 5 min | Stardust — a faint signal |

| 15–29 min | Desert and ocean worlds join |
| 30–49 min | Ocean and ice planets |
| 50–89 min | Ringed planet guaranteed |
| 90+ min | Gas giant odds rise |
Six rarity tiers
- Stardust
- Faint
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Very rare

PHASE 06 — GALAXY
Finished work doesn't vanish. It builds a galaxy.
Planets gather on a 3D star map you spin with a finger. “Every focus minute becomes one galaxy mile.” A week of voyages folds into one share card.
- Study, work, creative — sorted into sectors
- Share your week as a single galaxy card
- “A missed streak does not erase your record. One launch today is enough.”
✦ YOUR GALAXY GROWS WITH EVERY COMPLETED VOYAGE
PHASE 07 — CONTROL
AI launch control picks your next focus
It reads today's tasks, time, and calendar, then suggests the one voyage worth starting now. Start or defer right from the notification.
- Finds the pockets between meetings
- Start now · push 10 minutes · skip today
- Calendar and tasks connect both ways

Freelancers & makers
Deep work in 90-minute orbits. Afternoons end in gas giants.

NAV CHART
How is Apsis different from a to-do app or a pomodoro timer?
A to-do app records. A timer counts. Apsis closes the loop between them — the task becomes a mission, blocking guards it, and finishing grows your galaxy.

Frequently asked questions
Is Apsis free to use?
Yes. Tasks, self-timed voyages, one planet discovery per day, and the starter soundscape are free forever. Deep Space is only needed for app blocking, AI launch control, and unlimited planets — the annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
How does the app blocking work?
Apsis uses Apple's own Screen Time (FamilyControls) technology. Only the apps and categories you pick are locked, only while a voyage is active, and everything unlocks automatically when it ends or is aborted. Your blocklist never leaves your device.
What happens if I abort a voyage halfway?
The abort button is always there. Blocking lifts immediately, that voyage's planet isn't created, but your focused minutes still land in the log. No penalties, no dead trees.
Does it help with ADHD?
Apsis is not a medical device. That said, the one-line start with AI task breakdown, fewer external triggers thanks to app blocking, and the instant planet reward are the mechanics users with scattered attention mention most.
How is it different from Forest or Opal?
Forest centers on a timer, Opal on blocking. Apsis starts from the task: it becomes a mission, blocking protects it, and finishing grows your galaxy — one loop in one app, with planets instead of trees.
How is planet rarity decided?
By focus time. Planets span six rarity tiers from Stardust to Very rare and six types. A 50–89 minute voyage guarantees a ringed planet, and 90+ minutes raise the odds of gas giants.
Is there an Android version?
Apsis is iPhone-only for now. It leans on iOS-native technology like Screen Time blocking and Live Activities, so we're building iOS right first.
Where is my data stored?
Records live on your device first; Sign in with Apple is used only to sync between devices. Your blocklist stays on-device. See the privacy policy for details.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Voyages, timers, planets, and the log all work offline. Only AI mission briefs and launch control need a connection.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Cancel anytime from your App Store subscription settings; Deep Space stays active until the end of the billing period. Refunds follow Apple's standard policy.
